I kinda hoped to spend sometime this weekend recording show 1 but the real life fates have conspired against me so I will need to delay it till next weekend.
The good thing is that I will have tons of things to talk about as I have loads of minis now and will need tons of advice etc in configuring an army :-).

Show-0 the introduction Episode now live on YouTube :-)
I bit the bullet this morning and recorded a short introduction show explaining what I am doing and just saying Hi really :-)
Nothing riveting but then again none of em will be, if you care to have a look that would be brilliant.

A bit more progress on the YouTube front
Baby steps but I am getting there :-). Joking apart its been one hellava hectic week on other fronts so not been able to record my intro Vid for the YouTube channel.
However I have managed to get a title vid made and actually managed to get it uploaded as a test only. It was pretty cool as I was able the get Elements to upload direct using the format and upload vid tools built into Elements itself :-).
Fingers crossed but I should get the GW pre orders I have placed delivered this weekend so there will at least be boxes to show on the intro show itself.
Watch this space :) , and if course the YouTube channel .................
PS: I will need to investigate why the post via email to thus blog is broken again :-( Seems to work for a couple of days and then doesn't publish the posts ....... Weird as the email does not get rejected.

Getting there with the YouTube setup
Quite a lot of progress the last few days, not much to do with actually playing with toys soldiers tho :-(.
What I have done is invested in a good HD webcam along with a video edit suite ( Pinnacle studio 17). Also bought a basic but totally adequate USB desk mic.
I am just getting used to all of this stuff so I have made a couple of test recordings which have gone fine. What I want to do now is create a title and outro part so I can top and tail any video I make.
I did manage to build a couple of Character models which were lovely builds ( photos to follow as soon as I get my SLR camera setup ).
That's about it for now, looking forward to This weekend where I hope to get at least the intro video up of the Tube.

After a long long time of thinking about it In have finally decided to put down for posterity :-) my ramblings and exploits surrounding my hobby of war,board and card gaming. What has caused this Damascus moment now, I hear you ask, seeing as how I have been doing this kinda stuff off on on for years ( oh and I mean years ) Well it was two things really that got the stars aligned.
1- In November last year my health took a bit of a battering meaning that I needed at least 3 months for all intents and purposes away from work. Up until then I was flitting between numerous hobbies ( always coming back to minis etc) and for years had not settled down. Suddenly I realised that I needed to choose what I actually wanted to do with my spare time.
2- In January 2014 games workshop re launched their dwarf army :-)) now this has always been my first love. I adore the Fantasy setting and GW's new range of minis looked awesome.
The blog name is a Nod to that "Paint my Flagon ( dwarf ale Flagon get it ?. yeah, oh ok a very poor pun but there was a movie called "Paint my a Wagon" years ago that I remember as a kid . It was an awful musical by the way and that's it the name kinda just came to me awful as it is :-) is there now come Hell of high water.
So there we have it, I have a YouTube Channel that is hardly used but a new camera is on its way expect exploits on there too. As you will see I am on the google + Links to all of these will be up as soon as I can get it all together.
